First Eye Reflection Effect

When you open the source file you will notice that in the Main Timeline we have for layers. Ignore the first and you will see the followings: "effect","big movie","background". Of course the last layer is the layer with the background picture which we carefully chosen specially for this job. So the layers in the middle are responsible for the effect.

Let's discus about the layer "big movie". If you double click the Movie Clip in the stage, you will find that what it does is it moves a picture up to down on the right side of the stage. We also added some white lights in the beginning at the end of the movement, so that the transition between the ending point and the beginning is smoother.

As you can see that picture illustrates a wall (that's a picture from our layout) and we want that wall to reflect into the eye. So we added this movie clip on the right side of the Stage so you can see that the reflection in the eye is this exact movie clip. But how we did that? Double click the Movie Clip in the "effect" layer.

If you look at the picture above you will see the interior of the Movie Clip that's responsible for the reflection. The principle is simple: we determine the area where we want the Movie Clip to be seen and we add a smaller and transparent instance of it in that area. The first layer is a mask layer. We used the brushed tool to draw over the eye.
